Youth Ministry Opportunities
Youth Outreaches
For mission teams who would like to add a Youth Outreach to their week they are welcome to do so. This outreach is normally held on Wednesday evening in conjunction with the Community Outreach. Generally, there won’t be a large amount of teens at these outreaches as churches in our area are smaller in size and the youth of Mexico marry at a much younger age than in the U.S. If you would like to add this outreach to your schedule then plan on one of the two following options:
1. Have part of your team involved in the Youth Outreach and the rest of your team involved in the Vacation Bible School Outreach during this evening’s outreach.
2. Have all of your team involved in the Youth Outreach and don’t do a Vacation Bible School Outreach during this evening’s outreach.
Teams who work with youth normally follow this format:
- Icebreakers & games - 20 Min.
- Music - 15 Min.
- Testimonies 10 Min. (2-3 Testimonies)
- Teaching time - 30 Min.
- Snacks 15 Min.
- More games if desired 20 Min.
It looks somewhat like a youth group meeting, only dressed up a bit. If you wanted to do some drama or etc., you could. The cost would be just providing some snacks and drinks afterwards if possible.
