Evangelism & Visitation Outreaches

You will usually start the week off Sunday afternoon with an evangelism outreach to the community in which
the church you'll be serving at is located. The Mexicans from the church will go with you to share in this
time. You'll hand out tracts, share the gospel, and invite the community to the activities you'll be doing that
week. Everyone from your group is invited to participate during this time.
During the week, in the mornings from 9:00-12:00, a group (if your group is larger several groups) of about
four or five will go with one or two of the members of the church to visit homes to pray for them, get to know
them, see how they live, encourage them, and share Christ with them if they don't know the Lord. During
the week everyone should get the opportunity to participate in this time.
During your visit in the home, you will want to pray for them and their home. In is customary to place your
hands upon them while praying for them.
The schedule for the evangelism and visitation time should look like the following:
Sunday - Evangelism Outreach (Everyone)
2:00 - 2:30pm Getting acquainted time
2:30 - 4:00pm Evangelism time. You will be accompanied by members of the church where
you'll be serving.
Monday - Visitation & Evangelism Outreach (Groups of 4 to 5)
9:00am - 12:00pm Visitation and Evangelism Outreach (The rest of the group will be involved in
the work projects at this time. You can rotate the group who will be going
out each morning during the work time to visit if you'd like).
