In the mornings, from about 9:00 -12:00, your group will do various
projects at the church where your group will be serving during the
week. These projects include: cement work, block work,
construction, painting, cleaning, and a host of whatever kind of jobs
the church might have need of. We take into account the skills of
your group and the needs of the church in choosing your work
projects.
For those in your group, who might not be able to participate in the
work time for whatever reasons, are not obligated on to work. We
offer a Prayer/Visitation time for those who might be more inclined
to ministry. We entrust to you as the coordinator to make the
decisions regarding your group. For those unable to work, or want
to do some lighter, easier job, there is always something for
everyone. Don't feel pressured on our part regarding work
projects. We'll work with you in anyway possible so that it's a
positive experience for everyone.
Materials for your work projects are paid for from your group fees,
so there's no need to worry about additional funds for work
projects.
There is not a lot you have to prepare for regarding your work
projects. We'll provide most of the tools you'll need (unless it's a
large project and you want to bring your own tools) and will arrange
everything prior to your arrival. We'll even have all the materials
you'll need on site and ready to go. In short, we'll handle all the
details for you.
We do offer teams who have skilled workers the option of doing
larger projects. If you have skilled folks, be sure to let us know and
we'll take them into consideration in the planning of your projects.
In the event your team would like to do a large project, we might
ask you if you'd like to contribute a little funds as a large project
would cost more.
