Sunday - Evangelism Outreach (Everyone)
You’ll kick off your week of ministry on Sunday afternoon with an
Evangelism and Invitation time in the community in which the
church you'll be serving at is located. Your Mexican brothers and
sisters in Christ (from the church you’ll be serving at) will go with
you to share in this time. You'll hand out tracts, share the gospel,
and invite the community to the activities you'll be doing during the
week. Everyone from your group is invited to participate in this
rich time.
Monday - Thursday - Visitation & Evangelism Outreach
Also, during the week in the mornings, from 9:00-12:00, a couple
groups (if your group is larger more groups) consisting of about
four or five people from your mission team will go with one or two
members of the church you’ll be serving with to visit homes to
pray for the people, get to know them, see how they live,
encourage them, and share Christ with them. Much of your
prayers will involve praying for sicknesses as medical treatment
is expensive, poor in quality, and as a result, God is often their
only hope. During the week everyone from your team should try to
get the opportunity to participate in this special time.
During your visit in the home, you will want to pray for them and
their home. In is customary to place your hands upon them while
praying for them.
