It definitely works out best to have your cell phones programmed to receive and make
phone calls in Mexico. This means your just a call away from loved ones. You need
to make certain, in order to send and receive calls in Mexico to have your cell phone
set for this by your provider before you leave for Mexico.
Also, we generally loan group leaders a "loaner" cell phone if the cell they bring
doesn't work in Mexico. This cell phone # can be given as well to loved ones back
home for emergency use as well.

case, here's the phone number of the mission base. We usually answer the phone in
Spanish, but just talk in English and we'll know what's going on.
