Use this handy checklist to make sure you have everything ready for your trip
Please highlight and print for your use!
Items to be given to Missions to Mexico upon arrival in Mexico
__ Group fees - $210 per adults (12 years and up) $175 children (6 -11 years). Bring fees with you to Mexico
in U.S. Dollars unless other arrangements have been made. (Click here for an explanation of why)
__ Form B - Release of liability form
Items to carry with you for travel in Mexico
__ Form A - Notarized permission for minors (who are unaccompanied by parents) to travel in Mexico. This
must be signed by both legal guardians if possible. (This is Mexican law for minors)
__ Passports for all (this is optional at this time, photo I.D. is still accepted at this time)
__ Tourist Cards? See crossing the border if you choose to get tourist cards
Ministry Items Needed For Your Ministries
__ V.B.S. Crafts and snacks (5 V.B.S.'s @ 100 per V.B.S. packaged in bags of ten each)
__ Two cases of NIV Bibles in Spanish (That have both O.T and N.T.) - Order from: International Bible
Society, Tel: 1-800-524-1588 or go to their website at: www.ibsdirect.com
__ 1000 tracks - These can be ordered from: Chick Publications, Tel: 909-941-8128, www.chick.com, one of
the more popular tracts are, "Esta fue tu vida, This was your life". Another website you can order from
that is real good is: www.atstracts.org (Go to "Catagory" on the left side of their page, then select
"Spanish"). It is best to order a variety of different tracks. Here are a few we recommend: "Y ... Entonces
Que" (And now what), "Iré al Cielo" (Will I Go to Heaven?), "4 Verdades que Dios Quiere que Sepas" (4
Truths God Wants you to Know) Make sure you order tracts in Spanish and with a cartoon format.
__ Some game equipment for your game time for your VBS's
__ A total of 16 testimonies (4 geared for adults, 12 geared for children) Click for more on testimonies
__ About 25, or so prizes for children who can say their memory verses for the VBS time. These can be simple
but a little higher quality than the crafts that everyone will receive.
Meal Prep
__ Meals while at ministry base
__ Lunches at church ($3.00 per meal per person). If this option is not wanted, please let us know.
Prep For Your Stay At The Ministry Base
__ Sleeping bag & pillow (all bunk beds have cushions) see sleeping quarters
__ Cleaning items (see shopping list)
__ Paper products: plates, bowls, cups, paper towels toilet paper, napkins and etc. (see shopping list)
__ First Aid kit
__ Other items (see shopping list)
__ Staying in touch with your loved ones back home
